Daily Doses: hAUNTED hOUSES “sHARKS” from Yvynyl Volcano Mixtape (2010)

This song kills. 

In the “Verbed Out” branch of Lo-Fi which includes bands like Gauntlet Hair, and Kid Trails, it’s rare to find something as dynamic as this (The aforementioned bands being exceptions). So when I first heard this song (thanks again to Mark over at Yvynyl), I was blown away.

Since then I have spent about two hours of my life searching the internet to find out more about the band that created it. That search culminated in learning exactly two things.

1. They have another song called zOMBIE that’s just as good if not better, and can be heard here. 

2. They seem to be intentionally cryptic. 

That’s all I’ve got, maybe Mark knows more. Ironically enough I was also first introduced to the Cults in this fashion, and so far hAUNTED hOUSES is following that formula perfectly.
