Daily Doses: Rraaiills “When You Feel Like…” From 1098 (2010)

I’ve been predicting fame for Adam Anderson of Rraaiills and Incubator for months now. Along with being my pick for the We Get By… Compilation, I’ve posted more tracks from his projects than almost every other artist I work with.

The main reason for this is actually is very simple:

The man has not released a single bad track.

Across two projects, 2 EP’s, and a few singles, that is actually quite an impressive feat. And more impressive than that, is that he’s getting even better.

“When you feel like…” is the first track to be released from Rraaiillss forthcoming EP, 1098. It’s a driving piece of convertible pop (that being the sub-genre of pop that is best listened to with the top down in a convertible), that effortlessly showcases Anderson’s amazing voice, and harmonizing ability, as well as his ability to put together interesting and dynamic songs, front to back, guitars to drums, entirely by himself.

I feel like a car salesman standing in front of a vehicle and telling you that this thing will take you where ever you want to go, get you there in less time, and with less cost than any of the vehicles on the road, and never break down.

Except that I’m not lying. This baby’ll take you to the moon if you let it.
